MAHRP Conference Highlights Future of Learning and Workplace Transformation

The Maldives Association of Human Resource Professionals (MAHRP) has concluded its 6th Learning & Development Conference, bringing together people leaders, HR and learning and development professionals, business leaders and industry experts for a day of learning, collaboration and professional connection.

Held under the theme “Learning Beyond Borders – Transforming Talent for the Future of Work,” the conference examined how organisations can strengthen their learning cultures, manage workplace transformation and translate learning into meaningful behavioural change and measurable business impact.

Sessions covered artificial intelligence adoption, the future of work, leadership, mindset development, workplace transformation, innovative learning experiences and the creation of high-performance cultures. Speakers and international thought leaders encouraged participants to reconsider how organisations develop their people and prepare for emerging workplace challenges.

Opening the conference, MAHRP highlighted the event’s role as an annual platform for professionals who share the ambition of making a positive difference in their workplaces. Participants were encouraged to exchange ideas, build meaningful connections and turn new knowledge into practical action.

One regular participant described the conference as “an insightful and world-class learning experience.”

MAHRP said advancing human capital excellence in the Maldives requires strategic collaboration, shared commitment and the support of organisations that recognise the importance of investing in people.

MAHRP also announced that its 7th Learning & Development Conference will be held on 4 September 2027.
