A special Ramadan game launched by Ooredoo Maldives is gaining widespread popularity, with the hashtag #OoredooKaraaFelhun going viral as players compete to win daily gifts and a grand prize worth MVR 100,000.
The interactive game can be played through the Ooredoo SuperApp, where users can join one of two teams, Raiy Lashkar (Red platoon) or Noo Lashkar (Blue platoon), and take part in slicing virtual watermelons.
The concept of the game is inspired by watermelon, a fruit closely associated with Ramadan traditions in the Maldives, where it is commonly served at iftar tables across the country.
Each day, players can slice a watermelon within the app to receive different rewards, including mobile data packages and other gifts. In addition to these daily rewards, one lucky participant is selected every day to win prizes such as cash, televisions, cameras and gaming consoles, including the PlayStation 5.
At the end of Ramadan, one grand prize winner will receive a prize bundle worth MVR 100,000. The bundle includes a range of high-end gadgets such as a drone, DJI Pocket Osmo, Apple iPad Air, MacBook Air, and iPhone 17 Pro.
The campaign aims to bring a fun and interactive experience to customers during Ramadan while giving users the opportunity to win a wide range of prizes.
