National airline Maldivian has announced a special promotion offering round-trip tickets to three major Chinese cities at discounted rates. The promotion, which runs from October 28 to November 15, covers flights to Beijing, Chengdu, and Shanghai.
Island Aviation,
which operates Maldivian, said the initiative is designed to make travel more
affordable for Maldivians, whether for family holidays or business trips. The
airline has scheduled flights to depart from Malé in the morning, allowing
passengers to reach China on the same day morning. Return flights to Malé are
also planned to arrive in the morning, aligning with domestic flight schedules
for easier onward travel.
Maldivian
nationals traveling under this promotion will also benefit from China’s 30-day
on-arrival visa policy, further easing travel arrangements.
The airline
operates these routes using its newest wide-body aircraft, the Airbus A330,
offering additional comfort and capacity for long-haul journeys.
The promotion
reflects Maldivian’s efforts to strengthen connectivity with China while
offering more cost-effective travel options for local residents.
