MMA to Offer Limited Banking Services on Thursday Ahead of Eid Holiday

The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) will provide banking services on Thursday, 28 May 2026, from 08:30 to 14:00, ahead of the Eid Al-Adha public holiday.

The government has declared 24 to 30 May 2026 as public holidays for Eid Al-Adha. The MMA said cash withdrawals and wire transfers will not be available on Thursday and urged the public and businesses to arrange the cash they need for the holiday period in advance.
