Maldives National Air Traffic Services (MNETS) has announced that registration is now open for its upcoming “Open Day” event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Velana International Airport.
The event, held
from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, will coincide with MNETS’ second anniversary and aims
to give the public a closer look at the company’s role in managing the nation’s
air navigation services. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour facilities,
observe different areas of air traffic operations, and learn more about the
work carried out by employees across various departments.
MNETS has
allocated 200 slots for participants, with registration required in advance.
Interested individuals can register until September 11, 2025. However,
officials confirmed that registration will close once all slots are filled,
even if before the deadline.
Through the
“Open Day,” MNETS said it seeks to raise awareness about the scope of its
services and highlight its contribution to ensuring safe and efficient air
travel across the Maldives.
