Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) will bring a vibrant, family-focused experience to this year’s national Eid celebrations, as part of the “Eid Haveeru 1447” festivities.
Aligned with the vision of His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to strengthen community bonds and social harmony, MACL will host its festive activities at Central Park in Hulhumalé. The company’s dedicated stall will be located at the eastern entrance of the park, offering an engaging space for visitors throughout the celebration.
MACL’s activation will be part of the three-day “Eid Haveeru 1447” programme, which begins on 20 March 2026 in celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Activities will run daily from 16:00hrs to 18:00hrs, starting from the day of Eid.
At the heart of MACL’s participation is a Zootopia-themed play area designed to provide an immersive and interactive environment for children and families. The space will feature live character mascots, creating a lively atmosphere and offering memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.
A standout feature of the installation will be a custom-built treehouse positioned at the centre of the play area. Surrounding this will be a variety of interactive games and activities suitable for different age groups, including axe-throwing challenges, wrecking ball games, and “shoot your shot” stations.
MACL stated that its participation reflects the company’s continued commitment to community engagement and national connection. Emphasising the spirit of Eid — a time of unity, generosity, and togetherness — the company aims to create meaningful experiences that bring people closer.
Through initiatives like this, MACL continues to extend its role beyond aviation, contributing positively to the communities it serves while supporting national celebrations.
