Dhiraagu has introduced a promotional offer providing free 5G Turbo Routers to residents of Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation flats in Hulhumalé, aimed at improving access to high-speed internet services.
The initiative allows residents to establish WiFi connectivity in their homes without any upfront equipment cost, reducing barriers to entry for next-generation digital services.
Dhiraagu stated that its 5G Turbo service delivers high-speed, low-latency connectivity suitable for activities such as streaming, gaming and remote work, offering users immediate access to enhanced network performance.
Residents can apply for the service through the Dhiraagu MyAccount platform. To support onboarding, the company has deployed teams near FDC towers throughout the week from 16:00 to 20:00, providing on-site assistance through dedicated service points.
The rollout targets newly developed housing areas in Hulhumalé, where demand for reliable and high-capacity internet connectivity continues to grow alongside urban expansion.
The initiative reflects ongoing investment in digital infrastructure and service accessibility, particularly in high-density residential developments.
Improved connectivity is expected to support a wide range of activities including remote employment, digital services and online education, which have become increasingly important in recent years.
By extending access to advanced connectivity solutions, Dhiraagu is contributing to the broader digital transformation of the Maldives, while supporting the development of connected communities in emerging urban centres.
