Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) is sponsoring a surprise grand prize worth MVR 50,000 for visitors to the Maldives Financial Expo 26 on its final day. The expo runs from July 2 to July 4 at Hulhumalé Central Park.

Organizers said one lucky visitor to the expo will win the prize. Visitors must attend the expo in person for a chance to win, according to promotional materials released by the expo and MIB.

The Maldives Financial Expo 26 and MIB accounts shared the announcement on social media. Both accounts posted graphics showing the prize amount and the Hulhumalé Central Park venue.

The Maldives Financial Expo '26 brought together banks, financial institutions, and other players in the Maldivian financial sector. The event featured exhibitors from the banking, insurance, and financial services industries.

MIB took part as an exhibitor at the expo. The bank is one of the country's Islamic banking institutions and has grown its balance sheet recently.
