In the spirit of compassion and community during the holy month of Ramadan, Ooredoo Maldives organized a heartfelt initiative to distribute Iftar packs to patients, caretakers, and staff at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
As part of Ooredoo’s ongoing commitment to caring for the communities it serves, members of the Ooredoo Maldives team came together to personally distribute the Iftar packs, sharing a small gesture of kindness with those spending Ramadan at the hospital.
For many patients and their families, Ramadan can be a challenging time while receiving medical care or supporting loved ones in treatment. Through this initiative, Ooredoo aimed to bring a moment of comfort and connection at Iftar time, reflecting the values of empathy, togetherness, and generosity that define the holy month.
The activity also saw Ooredoo staff volunteering their time to support the effort, reinforcing the company’s belief that meaningful change begins with people coming together for the community.
This initiative forms part of Ooredoo Maldives’ broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, which focus on supporting communities, promoting wellbeing, and fostering a culture of care across the Maldives.
By sharing this small gesture of kindness, Ooredoo Maldives hopes to remind everyone that even simple acts of generosity can strengthen the bonds that connect communities, especially during Ramadan.
Ooredoo Maldives remains committed to enriching lives not only through connectivity and innovation, but also through initiatives that support and uplift the community.
