Maldives has participated in the China International Import Expo held until November 10, 2018.
The island nation aims to connect with international corporations and key industry professionals in order to further solidify the economic status as well as seeking acclaimed marketeers to promote the products imported to world market from Maldives.
A total of 9 local corporations took part in the expo held at Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center which had included Ensis Fisheries, Horizon Fisheries, Ocean Hunters and Maldives Seafood Processor along with Exporters Association.
Most of these corporations are mainly related to fisheries and fish related products including iced fish, seafood as well as canned fish.
The expo will presumably attract more than 800 international corporations.
