The Finance Forum planned and hosted by the Finance Office is set to be conducted this coming Monday.
Conducted annually since 2012, this year’s forum is set to be held at Paradise Island Resort. The theme for 2019 is ” Community and Economic Development and the Private Sector”.
The discussions to be held in the forum includes ways in which the state and the financial sector can develop the private sector.
The Finance Office further stated that there would be discussions based on the importance of the SME Bank for the development of the private sector and the appropriate rules and guidelines which would enhance the sector in the Maldives.
Leaders of financial institutions and active members of the private sector would be present at this forum.
