Businesses, investors, and policymakers from the Maldives are invited to participate in the Sri Lanka Economic & Investment Summit 2026 (SLEIS 2026), with registrations now officially open for the two-day event scheduled for 12–13 October 2026 at the Shangri-La Colombo.
Organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the summit will be held under the theme "Positioning Sri Lanka in a Changing Global Economy: Resilience, Reform, and the Future of Economic Policy." The forum will bring together senior government leaders, business executives, investors, development partners, and international experts to discuss Sri Lanka's economic outlook, ongoing reforms, and emerging investment opportunities.
As one of Sri Lanka's flagship economic forums, SLEIS 2026 will focus on how the country can strengthen its competitiveness, attract investment, expand exports, and deepen its integration with regional and global markets. The discussions are expected to be of interest to Maldivian businesses seeking regional partnerships and investment opportunities.
The two-day programme will feature keynote speeches, high-level panel discussions, sector-specific sessions, investor engagement opportunities, and business networking events aimed at fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors.
According to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, further details on the summit agenda, speakers, and session topics will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Chamber has encouraged early registration, noting that previous editions have attracted strong participation from local and international delegates and reached full capacity well ahead of the event.
