Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has signed an agreement with Dhiraagu to serve as the Digital Partner for the Maldives Maritime Conference 2026, scheduled to take place on 15 April 2026.
The agreement was signed by MPL Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Mueen and Dhiraagu Assistant Manager of Public Relations and Sponsorships Nashaya Naeem.
MPL announced the partnership as part of preparations for the Maldives Maritime Conference 2026, which will bring together stakeholders from across the maritime and port services sector. The conference is expected to provide a platform for industry participants to engage in discussions related to developments within the maritime sector and areas linked to trade and logistics.
Under the agreement, Dhiraagu will support the digital components of the conference as its official Digital Partner. MPL stated that the partnership reflects collaboration between key corporate stakeholders involved in facilitating the event.
The Maldives Maritime Conference forms part of MPL’s ongoing efforts to engage industry stakeholders and strengthen dialogue within the maritime and logistics sector. As the state-owned enterprise responsible for managing port operations in the Maldives, MPL plays a central role in supporting maritime trade and cargo handling in the country.
Further details regarding the conference programme and participating stakeholders are expected to be announced ahead of the event on 15 April 2026.
