State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has held a blood donation camp last Thursday, June 27, 2024.
The camp was launched in collaboration with Maldives Blood Service (MBS) in order to provide easy access to transfusions for patients requiring them.
More than 100 STELCO employees took part in the day’s event, the utility provider said, and added that its management gave high priority to serve the public in such areas.
“We proudly thank our staff’s continued support for such initiatives conducted for the benefit of the society,” STELCO added.
The utility provider further revealed its intention to make the camp an annual event. This year’s camp saw participation of STELCO’s Managing Director Hussain Fahmy, who donated blood as well.
