Allied Marks 41 Years with Limited 25% Discount on Motorcycle Comprehensive Insurance

Allied Insurance has launched a special 25 percent discount on its Comprehensive Motor insurance plan for motorcycles as part of celebrations marking the company’s 41st anniversary, offering riders enhanced protection at a reduced cost for a limited number of customers.

The company announced that the exclusive offer applies to new motorcycle Comprehensive Motor policies purchased online through Allied’s official digital platforms, including the Allied Mobile App and the My Allied portal. The discount is automatically applied during checkout and will be available only to the first 41 customers who complete their applications.

Allied stated that the Comprehensive Motor plan is designed to provide broader protection compared to standard third party insurance, covering not only liabilities toward others but also damages to the policyholder’s own motorcycle. The initiative aims to encourage riders to adopt more comprehensive coverage that reduces the financial impact of unexpected incidents on the road.

According to the insurer, motor insurance plays a crucial role in easing the financial burden arising from sudden accidents, whether involving damage to one’s vehicle or harm to a third party. By offering wider protection, the company said riders can travel with greater confidence knowing they are financially safeguarded.

The Comprehensive Motor policy includes coverage for a range of incidents such as road accidents, mechanical breakdowns, fire, natural disasters and damage caused by falling objects. Under the plan, compensation of up to MVR 60,000 is available for vehicle damage as well as for bodily injury or accidental death of the rider or third parties resulting from an accident.

Customers can also enhance their coverage by adding an optional Theft Cover, which provides protection against the loss of the motorcycle due to theft.

Allied noted that obtaining the policy has been streamlined through its digital platforms, allowing customers to apply online by submitting the required information via the mobile app or the My Allied portal.

The anniversary promotion reflects Allied Insurance’s broader efforts to expand digital services while encouraging greater uptake of comprehensive motor coverage among motorcycle owners across the Maldives.
