Maldives government’s expenses towards Covid-19 curbing efforts reach MVR3,197.6 million (MVR3.2 billion) so far.
Moreover, Ministry of Finance report the total health and social spending as of 18 March 2021 stood at MVR1,541.2 million (MVR1.5 billion), marking a 0.4% increment from the week before.
On the other hand, total economic response spending stood at MVR1,656.4 million (MVR1.7 billion).
Ministry of Health registers highest spending in comparison with other state body peers, with a total of MVR3.0 million.
Meanwhile in the review period, state made no new disbursements to any ERP schemes.
