Maldives state expenditure towards Covid-19 related efforts reach MVR3,239.7 million (MVR3.2 billion) so far, as of 25 March 2021.
Moreover, the total health and social spending as of review period stood at MVR1,565.0 million (MVR1.6 billion).
On the other hand, the total economic response spending stood at MVR1,674.7 million (MVR1.7 billion).
The total health and social spending saw a 1.5% increment from previous week, whereas economic response spending saw a 1.1% increment.
Meanwhile, in terms of week-on-week spending, Ministry of Health registers highest spending in comparison with its peers at MVR21.0 million.
Over the review period, state made disbursement of MVR18.3 million towards Income Support Allowance scheme as well.
